First I will explain what Twitter is (if you already know jump to the next paragraph) because sometime ago when I did not know what Twitter was, I was very confused when new applications for the Blackberry came out. Ever felt jealous of the iPhone? Maybe the way it is unlocked makes you want it more than your Storm? Well, not anymore!  There is now an application that lets you unlock your Blackberry Storm just the same way the iPhone is unlocked. So basically you won’t need to press the button on the top left corner to unlock your Blackberry Storm, you now can slide your finger across the screen and it will unlock.

Many people like the iPhone method better than the Storm method, but in my opinion the Storm method is much better, as the whole device (Storm) iss better than the iPhone. This simple difference on how to unlock the device shows a lot about the two devices. The Storm has a very simple but yet much effective way to unlock the device, on the other hand the iPhone way can appear more cool but at the end effectiveness is what counts, and that is the Storm.

The internet browser pre-loaded on Blackberry devices is really well designed, but there are some pages that dont load correctly or some stuff that does not show. That is why it is a good idea to have more options than only the pre-installed browser, that way we have plan B when something does not work!  Here is a very complete and neat web internet browser for blackberry storm, bold and curve 8900. This web browser called ”Bolt” is compatible with all 3 Bold, Storm and Curve Blackberry devices and can be downloaded for free.

I gave it a try and I have to say that this web browser  is faster than the standard web browser built into the Blackberry, but the result is not as clear and nice as in the standard browser. However it is nice to have another option because the Blackberry browser tends to crash from time to time and won’t load some web page or another.
